One of the sources I will be using in my position paper is an article from Opposing view points by Debra Bell. She states that there are many challenges faced when it comes to homeschooling, such as time demands, preparation time,the need for private time and the unrealistic expectations parents put upon their children. She also explains that there are teacher limitations and that community involve is kept to a minimum.

Another one of my resources I will be using for my position paper is an article from Opposing view points by Dawn C. Pitsch. She explains the difficult trials of homeschooling, and how homeschooling is not for every family. She goes on to continue about how parents take homeschooling to heart, explaining that if their children are failing it is essentially the parents fault, when in reality-its not.

My last source I will be using in my position paper is another article form Opposing View Points by Isabel Lyman. She explains that homeschooling is a viable alternative to public schooling. She goes on to explain that choosing the right homeschooling program is crucial for families. She also continues on by saying that children who are home schooled generally do better on standardized tests and excel well in college.
