Right now I am stuck finding scholarly sources for my paper. I am trying to right a position paper on the pros and cons of teenagers being one sport athletes in their high school careers. I was an athlete that only played one sport and now regrets my decision to do so.
I have had several talks with my parents and other adults that have said the same thing. I can easily get interviews and such with adults that have their views of the single sport athlete, however I am running into a little bit of a brick wall with the scholarly sources. Right now I am trying to find research and statistics and occurances that people have found with teens limiting themselves to one sport, such as injuries due to overuse because this is something I found common while playing softball. My scholarly sources will be posted once I have finally found the information I am looking for.
